Symphonic Band

The Symphonic Band is comprised of students who represent a wide variety of majors. This ensemble performs standard concert band repertoire as well as contemporary works for wind band. The band performs several on-campus concerts each academic year. Enrollment is open to all students regardless of major; however, previous band experience is required for membership.

Jazz Band

The Jazz Band explores all styles of jazz from swing to funk and Latin to rock. In addition to pieces for the standard big band, students also play in smaller jazz combos. Membership is open to all students by audition.

Chamber Strings

Chamber Strings performs repertoire designed for smaller string ensembles ranging from string trio through string orchestra.

Bluejay Band

The Bluejay Band plays at all home football and basketball games, providing fun and entertainment while encouraging school spirit in support of our Tabor Bluejays.
